Solihull Music Service

Solihull Music Service is committed to working in partnership with schools and pupils to assist them in all forms of music making. It also enriches the lives of pupils and the community through the provision of a wide range of music making opportunities.

As part of the continuing development of the Solihull Music Service, we want to create a Young Musicians Panel, giving students a voice. This will enable young people to share their views and be part of shaping the music service, for all young people in Solihull.

  The aim of the Centre is to complement and enhance the teaching of music in Solihull by creating opportunities for instrumentalists and singers to take part in a variety of ensembles, according to their ability.

  Over 60 teachers from the Solihull Music Service currently offer tuition to 4,000 pupils of all ages. Children receive further musical support in schools. SYMSA provides a driving force to ensure that this situation is maintained, and our aim is that it should be available to ALL school children.
